Larne Museum

Larne Museum forms part of the Carnegie Centre, a cultural facility that also includes a temporary gallery, auditorium and education centre.  The development of the Carnegie Centre has given a new lease of life to a former Carnegie Library which originally opened its doors to the public in 1906.  This historic building has been beautifully restored and renovated, with many of its original features remaining intact.

Through modern and attractive new displays, the Larne Museum reflects the distinctive history and heritage of Larne and district.

This lively community museum is very much at the centre of cultural life in the Borough.
