Larne Museum

Larne Museum reflects the strong maritime links of this east Antrim coastal community. The port of Larne is the principle gateway for goods into Northern Ireland. Its rural hinterland, which includes two of the nine glens of Antrim, is well represented in the museum’s folk life collection.

This community museum has been recently re-developed and now features modern attractive new display galleries and facilities. As part of the Carnegie Centre, which includes arts facilities, this lively local museum is very much at the centre of cultural life in Larne and district.
