Mid-Antrim Museum

This landmark building provides an elegant and accessible setting for an important local history collection. It is a resource for inspiration and knowledge and a dynamic educational facility encouraging interactions amongst students, teachers and visitors within a lively and ever-changing public venue. The new Mid-Antrim Museum at The Braid provides a range of expanded facilities and services.

The Heritage Lottery Fund and Arts Lottery Fund are generously supporting the £16m Ballymena Borough Council project. The Belfast-based firm of Consarc Design Group are architects for the scheme and the leading US design company, Ralph Appelbaum Associates are the museum designers.
